IMPLEMENTING THE DECISION OF THE BOARD

In pursuance of clause 2.2 of the Resolution of the Board of the State Committee for Military Industry dated March 18, 2022. No. 7-3 "On the implementation of youth policy in the system of the State Committee for Military Industry" young workers of JSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" on 04/22/2022 laid wreaths and flowers at The Rylenki memorial complex, Dubrovensky district, Vitebsk region, erected in 1973 at the Rylensky fraternal cemetery, the burial place of 10 thousand Soviet soldiers of the 11th Guards and 31st Army, who died in this area in fierce battles from October 1943 to June 1944. At the entrance to the territory of the memorial there is a gate with relief images of the faces of soldiers. The main composition of the memorial consists of 164 plates with the names of the soldiers buried here. Four steles were erected along the road from the gate to the slabs, dedicated to the exploits committed in this area by the Hero of the Soviet Union Yu. V. Smirnov, whom the Nazis crucified on the wall of the dugout, A.N. BUT. Nikandrova, who raised fighters S. Astakhov and Bruno de Foltano, pilots of the Normandy-Neman regiment, who died in the same plane, into the attack.
