From November 24 to December 14, the Republic is holding a large-scale information campaign on the effectiveness of autonomous fire detectors, the need to install them in households, apartments.

As statistics show, AFD is one of the most effective means of early fire detection. Last year alone, 93 people were saved, including 21 children, and since their widespread introduction in 2002, more than 2,780 people have been saved (53 people, including 12 children, were saved in the first 10 months of 2025).

It does not require connection to external systems: The API can detect signs of fire on its own and immediately alert nearby people with a loud sound.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends installing an API in every residential building.
